B and Mahee trade fire truck toys with each other, and can’t seem to get enough, so we arranged a trip to visit the fire house. Ayden, his mom Patek, Anabelle, her mom Suellen, Mahee, and his Mom Sushma joined B and I at the Alpha Fire Company. The kids loved it, and it was hard to drag them back out of the building when the tour was over. All in all a success.
B and I took a road trip to visit our friends Jess and Adam in Dover, DE.
B was a great trooper on the road trip, and as we arrived home B told me I would need 15,000 arms to carry all the bags up the stairs. I laughed.
Halloween is one of my favorites. Costumes and free candy… what’s not to like?
B really enjoyed trick or treating once he understood it. He went as a dragon, but most only wore the costume like a hat. (sorry, not pics yet. But maybe Mark will share them soon.)
Visit from Grandpa Gerald and Grandma Lil was even better than we hoped. Yeah!
There was a pumpkin carving contest while they were in town. It was fun to see all the different pumpkins.
Next weekend Grandpa Gerald and Grandma Lil will come to visit us. Yeah!
Here are a few pictures of what I hope they can see between State College and Canada
B is growing like a weed and saying some of the cutest things.
A few days ago he packed a bag of toys and told me he was ready to go to work; B announced he would drop me off at school, and then go to work to write his dissertation. He walked around the kitchen, sat down on the floor, then pulled out a pad of paper and a marker. After scribbling on it for a moment, B announced that he was finished with his dissertation, and got up to play. (I wish it were that easy! )
We also played artist and painted this weekend.
The colors are beginning to turn here, and the nights are getting colder. It feels like fall.
